A good south indian seafood spot with a decently priced menu. I went here a long time ago but never got the chance to post reviews till now.. 😅 The place is always crowded during the lunch time so would almost always have to wait for a table to be free. The food is good with freshly prepared sea food options served on the side. All the curries were cooked perfectly .. Might visit again 😅

Had lunch at Toasted Vazhayila recently, and it was a really enjoyable experience. We went for the meals, which were served on a traditional vazhayila, giving the whole meal an authentic Kerala feel. The food was flavourful, the portions were generous, and everything was served nicely. While I opted for the vegetarian meals, one thing that stood out was their impressive range of non-vegetarian dishes, especially the fish varieties.

Toasted Vazhaila at Ponnurni greets you with a bright pink board that’s hard to miss. We dropped in for lunch on a friend’s recommendation—and it turned out to be a solid choice. We tried their plantain leaf meals along with some fish and beef fry; everything was quite decent and satisfying. The service was quick, which always helps when you’re hungry. They don’t have much dedicated parking, but you can manage by parking along the roadside. Overall, a pretty decent dining experience.
